Job Description

Role Summary:

The Dealing Specialist – Trading Operations supports the day-to-day trading functions of a crypto exchange platform. This role involves monitoring order flows, conducting trade validations, performing reconciliations, and coordinating closely with the Dealing Lead. The specialist ensures smooth execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of trading activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor live markets and track order flow activity.
• Maintain adequate liquidity across trading pairs and report any issues to the Dealing Lead.
• Perform daily trade validations and confirm accuracy of executed orders.
• Assist in reconciling trade data with system-generated reports.
• Provide support to market makers during high-activity periods and monitor liquidity conditions.
• Identify and escalate any unusual trading behavior to risk and compliance teams.
• Prepare daily operational reports and dealing logs.
• Support incident management efforts to restore normal trading operations quickly.
• Assist with operational tasks related to new asset listings.

Required Experience:

• Decent experience working in a crypto exchange or brokerage trading environment.
• Strong understanding of order books and trade execution processes.
• Familiarity with dashboards, trade logs, and reporting tools.
• Basic knowledge of market-making strategies and liquidity dynamics.
• High attention to detail with effective communication skills.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

Reporting Line:

Reports directly to the Head of the Dealing Department.
