The team is composed of experienced professionals from leading tech and finance firms, leveraging analytics and automation to power intelligent decision-making and user engagement. 

Role Summary 

We’re seeking a hands-on Head of Data to lead the organization’s data function end-to-end. This role will define and operationalize KPI measurement across departments, own the product analytics stack (Mixpanel, Snowflake, Power BI), and establish a company-wide data strategy. You’ll manage a small but senior analytics team and collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to drive data-informed decisions.  

Key Responsibilities 

KPI Measurement & Data Acquisition 

  • Define North-Star and operational KPIs across business functions. 
  • Design and implement measurement frameworks and event taxonomies. 
  • Ensure accurate, consistent data capture across digital platforms and backend systems. 

Experimentation 

  • Establish and oversee a robust A/B testing program, ensuring rigor in design, execution, and analysis. 
  • Document and operationalize experiment learnings for long-term growth. 

Product Analytics (Mixpanel Ownership) 

  • Serve as the owner of the product analytics stack. 
  • Manage schema design, data governance, advanced segmentation, retention analysis, and funnel tracking. 
  • Build actionable dashboards and insights for product and growth teams. 

Data Platform & Governance 

  • Partner with Engineering on data modeling, CI/QA processes, data lineage, access management, and compliance (e.g., GDPR). 
  • Optimize data infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. 

Cross-Functional Analytics Leadership 

  • Provide insights to Product, Marketing, and Business teams through advanced analytics and reporting. 
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on customer behavior, performance metrics, and market trends. 
  • Identify opportunities for data automation and architectural improvements. 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics or a related field, ideally within fintech or digital product environments. 
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data systems. 
  • Proficiency with Mixpanel, Power BI, and Snowflake (or similar tools). 
  • Proven experience in A/B testing, experimentation, and customer behavior analysis. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data insights for non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data to influence product and marketing strategies. 
  • Experience managing or mentoring data teams. 
  • Familiarity with AI/ML models and automation is an advantage.
