Risk Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s risk management operations, focusing on identifying, evaluating, and addressing risks effectively.
  • Participate as a key member of the Risk Management Committee.
  • Regularly update the board on current local and EU regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to risk management.
  • Track the company’s risk exposures (such as counterparty, trading, and dealing limits) and provide insights into these areas.
  • Carry out continuous risk assessments and scenario analyses to gauge the impact of market shifts or unforeseen events on portfolio and risk exposures.
  • Educate senior management and staff on regulatory requirements in the risk landscape.
  • Compile and present management-level risk analysis reports.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of periodic regulatory reports, such as the Risk Management report, ICAAP, and Pillar I, II, and III.
  • Maintain and update the internal Risk Register, ensuring key risk indicators (KRIs) and industry best practices are consistently applied.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Law, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Risk Manager in a regulated environment.
  • CySEC Advanced certification required.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Solid understanding of risk management tools, techniques, and their practical applications.
  • Familiarity with ICAAP and Pillar I, II, and III processes (primarily quarterly or annual reporting obligations, rather than daily).
  • Strong project management and report completion skills.
  • Independent worker with excellent teamwork abilities.
  • Sharp analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • EU citizenship is required.
